I will be a first-time visitor to London in early Feb, from Thursday
5th till Sunday the 8th.  I'm actually doing two one-week business
trips in Brussels back-to-back, and I'm using the free weekend in
between to jump the Eurostar to London for an adventure.

We will be in central Portugal in March.  We would like to see Mafra,
Alcobaca, Tomar, and Batalha.  However,  we will probably have time to
visit only two.  Which ones should they be?

Looking at above Rome hotel for July, 2004.  Would appreciate comments both
pro and con concerning hotel, its surroundings etc.

We will arrive at London Stansted Airport at 9:50 p.m. and our connecting
flight leaves at 6:55 a.m. the following morning (both flights are by
Ryanair, so we have to check in the luggage again in the morning).

I higly recommand you to visit a village called Mattsee, 20 kilometres
in the north of the city of Salzburg. You can take off there for one
sunny day and are able to walk along the lake up to the new castle

What is the process and how difficult is it for a traveler to England to
obtain a refund for any VAT paid?  I have been told this is possible but
am not sure how to go about doing this.  I suppose it will depend on
just how much is spent while visiting in deciding whether it is ...
