I found this news in my Chemical and Engineering news.
First, the distillate come from approximately the same region
as Cognac, which I think is a better know distillate in the
US and Britain.  I personally always found Armagnac a bit smoother.

for 29 Euro and couchette (4 to a compartment) at 49 Euro.
