After many decades of never claiming a bean off home/motor plus any other

Can anyone recommend good 100-125 euro per night hotels in Barcelona,
mid-September, double occupancy?  There are so many hotels that we don't
know where to begin looking.  In order of importance I would say:

Can anyone explain the difference between the two mentioned in the Subject
header?  When last in Paris I bought a metro pass that I thought allowed use
of the system for 7 consecutive days starting on either Monday or Tuesday.
