We are planning on taking an overnight sleeper from St. Petersburg to
Moscow June 17 (a Friday night).  Should we buy tickets in advance
through a ticket agency before leaving or just wait and buy them from a
travel agent or the Central Railway Agency when we get to St.

I am going to be traveling to Munich in late April. I would like to do some
hiking in that area, preferably over three to four days following a trail.
Does anyone know of any good books or web sites for this? I am having a hard
time finding anything.

Has anyone here ridden the Metro in Paris? Is it as easy to navagate as the
tube?

I'm looking for a decent but inexpensive gasthaus for our small group (4
double rooms) near the train station. We're trying to keep it to 30-35 Euro
per person with a breakfast. I was told Gasthof Inselgraben or Gasthof
Ratsstuben would fit the bill. Any others?

My partner and I were considering a short break in Marseille or Nice
(we live in the UK) because we have never been to the South of France
and EasyJet do very low cost fares to those destinations.
