Advance Train Tickets - St. Petersburg-Moscow in June31 Jan 2005 23:48 GMT14
We are planning on taking an overnight sleeper from St. Petersburg to
Moscow June 17 (a Friday night).  Should we buy tickets in advance
through a ticket agency before leaving or just wait and buy them from a
travel agent or the Central Railway Agency when we get to St.

Gasthofe in Lindau-Bodensee??31 Jan 2005 18:52 GMT1
I'm looking for a decent but inexpensive gasthaus for our small group (4
double rooms) near the train station. We're trying to keep it to 30-35 Euro
per person with a breakfast. I was told Gasthof Inselgraben or Gasthof
Ratsstuben would fit the bill. Any others?
Marseille - Long weekend31 Jan 2005 18:44 GMT7
My partner and I were considering a short break in Marseille or Nice
(we live in the UK) because we have never been to the South of France
and EasyJet do very low cost fares to those destinations.
Which one would be the best to visit?  We are into cafés, bars,

Ajaccio31 Jan 2005 16:02 GMT4
We are planning a few days thre in May...two hotels I am considering are
6-8k outside of town, on the Route des Sanguinaires.  As we will be relying
on public transportation, can I assume it will be relatively easy to get
into Ajaccio via bus or taxi, or should I stay at a hotel ...

but don't want to exposed to cancer-inducing polluted air.
PLEASE MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!

First vs. second class31 Jan 2005 13:31 GMT53
My daughter is leaving for Salzburg in 10 days and is debating the flexi
saver (first class) vs. the youth flexi (second class). The cost for youth
is about 180 USD less. Any comments re: the different class of travel?

London to Glasgow?31 Jan 2005 10:57 GMT10
Could someone comment on the pros and cons of planes versus trains in
getting from London to Glasgow (and back) for the Worldcon?  E.g., cost,
difficulty in getting to various airports (Ryanair out of Stanstead
seems cheap, but how hard is it to get there?), etc.
