I've booked a daytrip to France.  Will be taking the car from Dover to
Calais.  Just wanted to find out if there's any decent places to visit,
things to do near Calais as I've heard its pretty dead there apart from the
big shopping city.

Greetings! I was looking for cost of traveling between London and
Sheffield [UK]. It seems train fares is about fifty five pounds    and
about fifteen pounds by coaches. It does not sound true. I must have
made a mistake. Please comment on this. With thanks.

In May when I go to Salzburg, there isn't much going on with concerts so I'm
thinking about attending chamber music at the Fortress (New Residence or
Prince's Chamber) or possibly at the Mirabell Palace. Which place is better
for this and is this "chamber music" worth seeing ...

I'm off to Leiden again next week, and it seems that there are very,
very few hotel beds about, apparently because of Bulb auctions, why do
they get so many visitors?  And what exactly are they?

I will be in Helsinki for a week this Summer.  Is it possible to rent a car
to drive to Vyborg, Russia in reasonable time.  If for no other reason than
to say I've been in Russia.  I have heard you do not need a visa to go into
Vyborg.

I'm thinking of taking the missus to Rome this year but I'm finding hotels
very expensive.  It's been said that convents and colleges provide cheap
accommodation.  Anyone have any information or advice?

I am traveling in Italy (Rome, Venice, Rimini) for 10 days.
Could anyone give me some info about something that I must not miss and
some information about shopping and good restorants, confectionery
etc...

I just came back from a trip in Italy. What a blast! We flew Alitalia
into Rome and rented a car through Andiamo Italy
(http://www.andiamoitaly.com). They had the lowest prices we could find
anywhere, and their service was excellent! A nearly brand new economy

I and wife are elderly couple.
Will it be advisable for us to go to London in the month of Feb '07.

I still haven't gotten a response to exactally how the movies work.
We will be flying from New York To London, on United Airlines. We will
be returning from Frankfort to New York, on Lufthansa Airlines.
- Will we have our own TV's ?

I suppose I shouldn't complain as this seems fairly cheap, but can
anybody beat GBP85 for a small a/c car in Malaga for one week in
September?
Also got my eye on a nice convertible for approx GBP215 for the week.

I will be arrving schiphol about 10 pm  and departing 7 am so all I
need is a place to sleep for a few hours. can someone recommend a cheap
hotel near or in schiphol please? By cheap I am looking for something
