I have just book 9 days in Germany, i need to spend 2 days in Berlin before
heading south.
I have restricted mobilty, well i hobble a bit and slow walking and cant
walk too far esp with rucksack on my back.

The Observer

I am from the US and have done very little travelling in my 66 years.  Never
across either the Atlantic or Pacific.  I want to visit a very sick friend
who lives in Cortona, Italy next month.  I have about 1 week total.  How
should I travel from Atlanta, GA?  Direct to Florence?  ...

On a car trip through Germany, we're planning to spend the days
visiting palaces and the evenings walking around "Altstädte".
So I'm looking for the grandest palaces in Germany, mainly 17th
and 18th century buildings, like this

I'll be driving from Belgium through France in early June and was
