We're going to Italy for two weeks at the end of the month.

I'll be In Dublin for five days, will have a car and expect to spend
two of those days day-tripping. One day will be a Midlands tour but I'd
like to see one other city. Would Galway or Kilkenny be a better bet in
late May? Both are about 2.5 hours away by car.

I've been watching the weather reports out of Spain, mostly Madrid.  It
