Ireland - a few questions08 May 2006 02:57 GMT45
What's the weather like in Ireland the beginning of September?
Is it mostly rainy, or can you get a stretch of sunny days as well?
I'm trying to organize my holidays in September; I'd like to do a
"self-organized" tour. I'm not sure exactly if I'll go to Ireland (I'm
Recommendation for Swedish online Computer store?07 May 2006 21:26 GMT2
I'm from Germany and would like to order some hardware for my
girlfriend in Sweden.
Unfortunately I don't know of any Swedish Online Computer stores.
It should be a present - so I can't really ask  my girlfriend.
even gRuinge can find true love (and stop playing with his petite zizi)07 May 2006 21:20 GMT1
In a bizarre attempt to prevent the population of a small Spanish town
dwindling, residents of Villafrechos yesterday bussed in more than 100
women from neighbouring towns for a large-scale blind date party.
The women were taken to lunch by around 60 single men, all hoping to
Cambridge vs Oxford07 May 2006 21:06 GMT2
I know it's difficult to compare two different cities, but I'm trying
to get an idea of how Cambridge and Oxford are different and similar.
I stayed in Cambrdige for a month back in 1991 and loved it. What I
really liked was that it was relaxed, peaceful, laid back, and casual,
Nasa Worldwind (Europe) seems to have got worse?07 May 2006 19:02 GMT3
Have any other users of Nasa Worldwind noticed, that the
material for Europe seems to have got a lot worse (MUCH
less detail) compared to about a year ago? Material for the
US is better than Europe but still a lot worse than I recall.
Sarajevo - cool place to stay07 May 2006 15:43 GMT4
Hi fellow travelers,
Looking for a cool place to stay in Sarajevo.  B&B kind of place where one
could meet people from around the world.
Thanks in advance,
Hostels in Paris07 May 2006 09:31 GMT1
My family of 5 and I are going to be spending a few nights in Paris in June.
Can you recommend any hostels or other inexpensive accommodations?
Thank you.  We'd appreciate any advice.
FLR airport to Florence07 May 2006 08:21 GMT5
OK, guidebooks say taxis are 15 euro.  Sounds like it's a fixed or
regulated fare, but with surcharges for luggage.
I see a couple of buses which drop people off near the train station.
I have to get near the Piazza Signoria with a couple of carry on bags.
Istanbul Trip07 May 2006 06:32 GMT3
I recently returned from a trip to Istanbul and was very pleasantly
surprised at how beautiful it was.  Istanbul is an ancient city, but
has many modern features and is very clean.  One of the most
surprising features was the presence of so many intensely colorful and

Suggestions for 11-hr Paris stopover?06 May 2006 23:27 GMT106
Hallo all you Clever People!
En route to Johannesburg from the USA a young mother and 2 little kids
of 3 and 5 have an 11 hour stopover in Paris.  Her husband will not be
along to help.  She is wondering if there is something she could do
Ireland recommendations?06 May 2006 23:11 GMT10
My mom's been wanting to go to the "homeland" for decades now, and my sister
and I finally decided to put a trip together for her.  Neither of us know
anything about the country to speak of, but the 10 day trip's going to be
this summer, and I'm hoping to glean some wisdom from ...
Dun Laoghaire for Dublin stay?06 May 2006 22:01 GMT5
Rick Steves seems to like Dun Laoghaire, a 20-minute DART ride from
Dublin centre, for B&B accomodations and restaurants. It's certainly
cheaper. Any disadvantage from a tourist standpoint to staying there?
We'll be hiring a car and making day trips out, so it's an advantage
Prepaid GSM phone cards Italy06 May 2006 20:04 GMT13
Any suggestion about which prepaid phone GSM-phone card to buy in Italy?
Roaming with a foreign cell phone is ridiculously overcharged by my operator. I
am glad the EU is going to something about this rip off
