I am considering going to Sicily. Can anyone answer these questions:
1. In the cities and countryside is there any violent crime I should
know about? I mean compared to Europe in general.
2. Are there snakes?

I am thinking of flying from Nice to Rome. Does anyone know a low cost
airline with direct flights from Nice to Rome?

I am plnning to purchase a Eurorail Select Pass for Italy, Switzerland
and France and wish to catch the TGV from Geneva to Paris.  This ticket
is a 1st class rail pass.

If I fly into RIGA, Can I easily pick up a Russian visa in one day at
the embasy?  Getting one here in the US appears to be lots of trouble.

I wonder how extensive the World Cup mania will be in Germany this
year.
I am going from California to northern Germany, near Bremen, either in
June or July, then traveling around Germany in a campervan.
