We had a really good experience here. Cosy, clean downtown apartment
with a balcony, friendly staff, not expensive! We really felt the
luxury like in any hotel - the service was excellent and we enjoyed the
privacy. Warmly recommend for everybody...

I'd be going alone and would like to have a vacation package with group
activities with others in a similar situation around my age (27).  I've
searched google, but can't find anything that seems to work for me.
I've never been outside the U.S., so I'm open as far as destinations ...

  We plan to be driving into Paris in a couple of weeks. Looking for a
zone, perhaps out-of-town to stash the car for free. Then do our thing
in Paris after riding the Metro or commuter train into town for a few
days. We'll use public transport while in the metropolitan Paris area?

How can a tourist get in for a few drinks at "private" clubs like
these? Pay a hefty membership fee at the door. Or is it more
problematic than that?

Le Parisien published today a weathermap of France showing
the highs and low in various areas. It is color coded.
It is not Web available but will be for sale in
gas stations and at bookstores in France.

The GPS rented from Autoeurope is very lame. We rented one for Italy,
and in small and medium towns it was clueless. It knew the town, but
not any discreet locations. Even in Siena it could not direct to our
hotel location. Better to get a good paper map.

As suggested by those from whom I sought advice in this group, here is
a trip report from my recently completed trip to Ireland.

I plan to rent a car in Porec, and drive it along the coast down to
Dubrovnik.  Two questions.....are there any problems with that - that I
should know about?   And two - about how long of a drive is that?

We are planning a trip to Rome probably later this summer.  Any
recommedations for a a few good caffes in Rome?  We will be passing thru
Naples and staying in Positano for a couple of days.  Recommentdations for
cafes, mom and pop restaurants would be greatly appreciated.
