I'm thinking of taking a last minute-ish trip to Paris this weekend
(via train from Mannheim, Germany). I'm not super familiar with Paris
and was wondering if anyone had recommendations for hotels (especially
boutique or family run). I'm really not familiar with the districts

Could anybody recommend an Italian language school in Italy (preferably
Florence)? I want to stay there for two weeks and study Italian. I've
already taken a few Italian classes back home, but I want to enjoy a
"langauge-study" vacation.

I was in Europe recently and I noticed something very interesting -
after I got back from Sicily I was speaking unconsciously bits of
simple Italian to everyone. Like "Si" insteda of "Yes". But there's
something more. I have the facial expressions and body type of Sicilans

Hello and in particular hello to those of you reading this newsgroup in Poland. I have a question for you.
Approximately how long in duration does it take to travel by rail or coach from Krakow to Gdansk? Howmany kM are we
looking at? And are there direct rail and coach connections ...

I've got about a day and a half (2 nights) to kill on a forthcoming
short break in Spain, in transit from Zaragoza to the coast near Salou,
and was looking into the possibilities of the parador at Alcaniz.
Anyone recommend it? Is there enough to do/see in and around the area,
