Visit Copenhagen May June 200628 Jun 2006 14:08 GMT24
We visited Copenhagen for 5 days in May - June 2006.
We stayed at the Hotel City.  The hotel is spartan by normal standards,
but seems the norm for Copenhagen.  The breakfast was good.  The price
is outrageous but again the norm for Copenhagen. The location of the

Am looking for the best way to get from Seville to Lisbon.  We have a
rental car in Spain, but our flight home to the US is out of Lisbon, so
we have to get there for our last night (awards travel--don't ask).
Anyhow, there is a $250 drop-off fee for the rental car (plus the ...

One upon a time you could call American Express and get a nice friendly
midwestern voice who could answer all your questions and understood
idioms and nuances. Now, my God, what have they done! I have a Chinese
woman reading badly from a script! Happens again and again. Is there a

In case you missed the news, the St Gotthard road tunnel and pass in
Switzerland are closed as the result of a massive rockfall May 31st, and
the route is now expected to be closed for at least another 3 weeks.  I
have to drive down from Cologne to Milan next Tuesday, so it looks ...
Italian language booklet28 Jun 2006 07:30 GMT68
Does anyone know of a small, pocket-sized pamphlet (preferably
laminated) that we could carry around while in Italy.  We do not know
ANY Italian (well maybe a couple phrases), and don't want the added
weight, bulk of a paperback book in my tote bag.

A friend booked a flat for four weeks in October ( Sept 30 -Oct 28)-

location, between Campo S. Maria Formosa and Piazza San Marco. He paid a
deposit.

Luggage on the underground27 Jun 2006 21:03 GMT24
I am debating where to drop my rental car in London.  Ideally, I would
like to drop my family and luggage at the hotel and then return our
vehicle, but that entails driving across London (from Cambridge to
Fulham).  Since the unfortunate incident last summer, will we be likely
