Can anyone tell me anything about what public transportation (bus or train) is available from either Stresa or Bellagio to Lugano? A link to a web site with prices, schedules, etc. would be great if you have one. I've searched, but didn't find what I was looking for.

The input that I have received from this group has been wonderful. We're traveling in August (yep, I know) and have 4 days between Florence and Rome. We've decided to stay out of the big cities and stay in the countryside. We'll use this as our base to explore the Tuscany
