Best Discount Tours of Europe?26 Jul 2006 16:55 GMT1
I'm interested in going on a tour of Eastern Europe...Balkans, Ukraine,
Russia, etc.  Some of the tour prices I'm seeing are very expensive.
Can anyone recommend a good tour company...one that gives great quality
for a good (hopefully discount) price?

I recently returned from Copenhagen.  I toured a few palaces that did
allow interior photos.  These include Amalienbog Slot, Rosenborg Slot,
and Christianborg Slot.  Are interior photos of these palaces
available somewhere?  I searched online and didn't find much, a few

First timer to Europe here. What do you do with your passport while
traveling, once you're through customs and in the country of destination? Do
you carry it with you at all times, keep it in your hotel room, keep it in

Heathrow: Hotel, and Transfer to Bath25 Jul 2006 18:20 GMT9
We're going to land at Heathrow Terminal 1 and need to travel to Bath.
We should get through customs around 4:30 - 5 pm on a Saturday. Should
we get non-refundable inexpensive train tickets?  If our flight is
late and we miss our train, how do we deal with it?
Norwegian coastal voyages.25 Jul 2006 18:07 GMT59
Rather than book the complete (expensive) package trip for the Norwegian
Coastal Voyage from the UK.can I simply book the cruise part. I am sure that
Norwegians travelling on this service must have a less  inexpensive way of
doing it.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a B&B or hotel. I'll be visiting
Bath during the early part of August.  Price target of approximately 50
British Pounds and location in or close to the city center.  I've
looked at a list of accomodations in Bath, but it would be nice to hear
Rome - nice B&B, not in touristy area ?25 Jul 2006 15:24 GMT1
we are visiting Rome in the end of August.
Can anybody recommend a nice B&B or small hotel? We would prefer an ordinary
not so touristy neighbourhood. No problem if it's a bit outside the city
centre.
