Has anyone been able to get tickets to a performance at La Scalla (in Milan) prior to travelling to Italy? If so, what's involved, what did they cost, and are they normally sold out far in advance? Thanks,

A friend of mine has an apartment in Tenerife and I'm considering going over there in January. I would go there around January 15th for one week. What is the weather like there that time of year? Warm enough for the beach? Much chance of rain?
