I'm driving a car up from Bilbao to Cologne next week, and will have a few days to spare on the trip to do a little sightseeing. Looking at the map, I thought the Lot valley esat of Cahors might be interesting. Anyone recommend it? Other suggestions/alternatives?

I was in Valencia and ordered a beer, a glass of wine and some tapas. I was amazed when the bill came to 16 EUROS. The barman insisted this is what it cost, period. I am not confident enough with my Spanish to argue.
