I'm doing the marathon there (postponed because of the riots) on 15th
October and staying for three nights.
I've never been to Hungary before or any other "eastern bloc" country

I am going with a group of friends including my 10 yr old daughter to
Venice, Florence and Rome about Thanksgiving time this year.

I would like to go to Italy. Ryanair have some reasonable offers.
I am having a bit of a nightmare, I am not too bothered where we go.
Ideally Rome but I have read that the trains are ok in Italy so maybe
arriving at Milan and then onto Rome would be an option.

We have had fairly good weather for a couple of weeks, into the
low 20s.  Some of the trees are loosing their leaves however
