Travelling with canes in Germany?07 Nov 2006 06:15 GMT37
Just to check, are there laws about how people with canes are supposed to
travel in Germany?  Europeans like to make laws on everything, so I was just

A couple of UK accommodation questions06 Nov 2006 20:16 GMT8
In the UK, do caravan parks have what we Aussies call on-site vans?
i.e. Ones that are permanently at the park and let out to visitors. If
so, what is a rough ball-park figure for the nightly cost?
Thanks.
Rentals from Helpful Holidays06 Nov 2006 15:31 GMT1
My wife and I are planning another trip to Cornwall in the spring. We have
found numerous ads for attractive-looking cottages and flats on the web page
for Helpful Holidays (www.helpfulholidays.com). Has anyone used this
company? Are they reliable?

Traveling to Italy in Feb.06 Nov 2006 09:03 GMT22
Can anyone give me suggestions as to where to stay and what to do.  I
have only one week.  I'd like to see as much as possible, but not so
that I ruin it all by trying to see everything.
If someone had a successful trip and would care to give me the details,

with old fashioned paper Olympic Airlines tickets (purchased on the
Internet) for a trip to and from Santorini.  I made a special effort to
seek out the Olympic Airlines office in Athens to confirm our

Dallas - Istanbul connection found05 Nov 2006 15:36 GMT1
fyi, turns out I can make a safe connection through Frankfurt if the
Frankfurt/Istabul legs are on Lufthansa.  I have to leave Istabul at
6am but that's OK.  I should've thought of this before, since that's
how I came home once before back in 2002.  So I'm gong to lay in my

Everyday life in Krakow05 Nov 2006 10:12 GMT7
I'm planning a month long stay in Krakow next year. I noticed it got in the
top 10 cities in Europe for lots of postings on this site. I'm interested to
