On another note regarding time.  Why is it that British time is earlier
than the time in parts of Spain that are to the west?

Does anyone here have any recommendations for a cottage to rent in Cornwall
for 2 or 3 nights over New year?
I've stayed briefly in Coverack before which was nice but very quiet,
