Which online booking service did you use for booking a hotel in London, and
were they reliable?

Can someone give me the telephone, fax and address of the visitor center at
Stow-on-the-Wold, England? Also, if you know a general web site where one
can link to village visitor centers all over England, that would be very
useful as well. Many thanks.

Could I ask the group please for opinions on the best way to make the
journey between Forli airport and Florence? We are going late July and
chose that connection sinply because it was over 200UKP cheaper than
all the other options! I understand that there is either the Autostrada

I want to drive from the northwest coast of Italy (Genova) across to
the northeast coast (Venice) in my camper-van in early February 2007.
Is snow likely on this route? Is there a telephone number for road
conditions on this route?

    Some additional information.  There are just the two of us
travelling to the Lucca area, my wife and I.  We are +55, and are
interested in hiking, biking, regional food, interesting historical sites.  

Polls are pretty useless when they are close. The STD

If you intended to travel to Australia: wait another 2 months.
Continuous draught and excessive temps (today 38˚C just north of
Sydney) make travelling/sightseeing pretty unpleasant. And the forecast
