Brugge/Bruges Belgium06 Feb 2007 12:46 GMT21
I'm going to be in Germany for february and thinking of visiting
Brugge Belgium. Is it worth it for a weekend? I hear it's nice
looking, but i'm in my twenties and will be alone. Maybe it's a better
idea to stay in brussels and then do a day trip to brugge or stay in

Where to download SNCF timetables?06 Feb 2007 11:58 GMT3
Does anyone know if it is possible to download or print off timetables
for SNCF trains? I actually want the service from Nimes to Ales. I
found the page where you can type in journey details and it tells you
times, but I'd really like a PDF I can print off.

White goods - Totally Off Topic06 Feb 2007 08:49 GMT25
Seeing how RTE has been largely off topic for the past few weeks, here's one
for the regulars to ponder (whilst planning their next Euro-adventure):-
How come  "White goods" (fridges, freezers, microwaves, kettles, toasters,
etc.) ALWAYS come with a black plug and/or a black flex?
Climate of Opinion06 Feb 2007 05:45 GMT5
Last week's headlines about the United Nation's latest report on
global warming were typically breathless, predicting doom and human
damnation like the most fervent religious evangelical. Yet the real

Vatician Museums - ways to avoid the wait?06 Feb 2007 00:49 GMT6
Is there a way to avoid the extremely long lines to get into the
Vatican Museums ie, pre-sale tickets or by using a tour guide with
special access, etc.?
Moldova/Turkey/Other Visas...05 Feb 2007 23:01 GMT7
My girlfriend lives in Moldova. I'm from the UK. We're planning a trip
to Turkey (Istanbul) or somewhere for summer, but she tells me the
only way she can be granted a visa for *many* countries is to apply
through a travel agency, along with their complete package booking of

Inconvenient Kyoto Truths05 Feb 2007 20:53 GMT6
Enough already. It is time to call some bluffs.
John Kerry says that one reason America has become an "international
pariah" is President Bush's decision to "walk away from global
warming."
Easyjet boarding lanes05 Feb 2007 18:49 GMT12
OK, I give up. I have flown with Easyjet about 20 times recently and I
always get boarding lane D. I'm not priority boarding (PB) and I don't
check in on the Internet (lane C) as I have hold baggage. So what is the
mystery of how do you get into boarding lanes A or B? I thought ...
