I am soon to be travelling through Germany to Northern Italy and I wondered
if there were any groups of small hotels in Germany similar to the Logis
system in France. I don't really want to stay in one of the big chains and
would prefer somewhere in the country.

I am planning to spend 6, may be 7, days in Swizterland, entering from
Italy, exiting to France, and trying to come up with an itinerary. I
decided to limit myself to Western Switzerland, with something like:
Lake Geneva / Chillon - 1 day

The French press reported this morning that foreign
