During my trip to Greece this summer, I am planning to arrive at
Santorini late at night around 10pm. Is it still possible to check-in
at a hotel at this time of the night? Or would some places be closed
or charge you extra?

Here in Canada it is mandatory to wear a bicycle helmet. (only when
riding a bike of course).  
Is this the case in the European countries?
Do different countries have different requirements?
