I have been selected for an internship program at EPFL, Lausanne,
Switzerland for a period of 2.5 months this summer. So I plan to
travel a bit of Europe during the weekends. I am on a real tight
budget, so taking accommodation in any other place apart from the

I will be coming to Rome in 2 weeks to do the marathon.  One of the side
trips I would like to do is Pompeii.  I have already been there but g/f
would like to see.  Most of the tour places offer combo tours to see both
Rome & Naples.  Are there any tour places that do just Pompeii ...

A French high-speed train (TGV) has smashed the world record for a
train on rails by a big margin, reaching 574.8km/h (356mph).
The previous TGV record was 515km/h (320mph), set in 1990.
