where can I buy the flag of old Occitania?31 May 2007 15:16 GMT2
My wife and I like to collect historical flags of regions we've
travelled through. We recently did Languedoc and Provence. We had no
problem finding a place to purchase the Catalonia flag, but are having
a devil of a time finding a place to purchase the flag of Occitania.

My wife and I are planning to come to Switzerland and Austria for
around three weeks. We can come any time from July through to October.
I've checked the weather reports and they seem to indicate that
conditions vary a lot depending on exactly where you are. But, is
Visa Travel Insurance31 May 2007 00:15 GMT8
I have a CBA visa card (gold) which entitles me to free travel
insurance for any trip paid for using the card. My wife and I are
planning a trip to Europe later in the year and I'm wondering whether
this insurance is as good as it claims to be. My travel agent hasn't

Trip Report: Central Europe Loop30 May 2007 17:54 GMT14
My trip was predicated on the Road Trip scenario: use a car to get to
out-of-the-way spots, thus augmenting the travel experience. For some
of the trip, this was effective. But for travel to large cities, it
was counter-productive. My travel buddy was Mike, a Viennese friend

Italy: Noale<-->Venice Train/Bus connection30 May 2007 14:43 GMT5
Next week we plan to tour Venice. We'll sleep in nearby Noale, and, in
view of the problematic parking issue in Venice, we plan to use public
transportation (train preferred) to commute to/from Venice.

Hotel booking via Internet30 May 2007 09:51 GMT19
I just booked a hotel room in UK. Their website gave a special rate for Sundays.
My booking was accepted for the special rate, the confirmation gave the full
rate and not the special rate. I'm a bit pissed off as I only chose the hotel in
preference to one, I knew because of the ...

Thus, we thought of getting a french PACS (kind of like a UK civil
Using Euros in Switzerland?30 May 2007 08:04 GMT24
Now that the Euro is here, I suspect that I am like many people in the
UK in holding on to spare/excess Euros from previous visits, rather
than converting currency back to sterling every time I return to the
UK.  I'm going to Switzerland this summer and calculating how many
