Four of us will be traveling from US to Italy this June. We want to
spend a week in the countryside of Tuscany and a week in Venice. We'd
like to have a car in Tuscany, but don't need one (I assume) in
Venice. I need some advice on the best way to plan this.

Just back from a weekend break to Dubrovnik- first time we'd visited the
city. Flew out from Manchester on Friday evening, and by 10pm local time

Our transatlantic cruise ends in Barcelona March 13 and we will be
staying until the 16th. We'd like to get to Lourdes and travelling
these 200 miles seems like a nightmare ... trains need 2 transfers and
takes 11 or so hours ... buses likewise ... flying is no bargain

I have to say, after traveling around Germany for two and a half
weeks, Germans are a lot better drivers than those here in the States.
We say two little "fender benders". Here I see cars rolling over all
the time.
