hotels, motels etc while travelling around Europe and the UK.  I was told
today at a  travel show in Australia that this is the case all time in these
countries.

I've stayed in the highly rated (by tripadvisor) Hotel Uhland and find
it adequate, but not fabulous.  For the first stay, there is a

I booked a room through expedia.com, and afterwards checked the hotels
web site to get the phone number, and I discovered that the advertised

called Expedia and was informed that they would not provide the room
how's autumn in your part of Europe?12 Nov 2007 09:45 GMT35
A few years ago, I remember looking out of a train window and thinking
"there are no leaves on the trees!" realising that I'd been oblivious to
the change of the seasons. Since then, I've resolved to work less, and
enjoy nature more! :)

odd restaurant pricing policy11 Nov 2007 22:27 GMT15
I had lunch in an Italian restaurant off London's Regent Street, today.
