Iceland ring road - how long to drive it?26 Jan 2008 21:22 GMT1
I seen several old posts about the ring road but am wondering if
anyone has done it recently, what sort of shape it is in?  How long to
go all the way around by car?
Any recommendations of places to stay?  Must see?

Scotland: Argyll / Dumbartonshire26 Jan 2008 18:46 GMT174
I have a question for all the kilt lifters here:
I am considering a tour of Scotland in late May or early June.
Most of my itinerary looks fairly good, but I'm at a loss for one
stop. I'll spend a night on the Isle of Mull, after which I'd like to

Scottish B&B's26 Jan 2008 01:13 GMT12
We will be driving around northern Scotland ( Ullapool, Lochinver, Bettyhill
et al) in May. Just want to wander. Is it safe to expect B&B's to be easily
available? We would rather not lock into places in advance, but the last
time we were up there ( 25 years ago) they were very ...

all my U.S. appliances into that strip? I didn't see any 110/230 (or
whatever) voltage indicator, so I don't know if it can handle the

I made the long journey out to Kastelorizo (about 36 hrs door to door
from Athens) in March 2006 and sort of got hooked.
I am now looking to make my way to the Total Solar Eclipse of 1 August
1008 and I am figuring on taking my chances in the area south of

Hi. I'm going to be moving from the U.S. to Norway soon. I know that
Norway uses the europlug and the Schuko plug. I have a couple of
