Bit of a long shot, this! I'm trying to identify a location in
Picardy.

That was taken looking roughly east at about 11:30 GMT on 11th August

When I was in Alghero, I found there was no Bus or Transportation into
the town from the Airport. I stayed the night in a near by Bed and
Breakfast.
Is AHO totally isolated from public transportation?

i'm travelling to Dublin in mid July with my mother.  We need to stay
a few days in Dublin before we visit relatives in another county.  I
have two questions:
1.  Could anyone recommend a nice hotel for us to stay in for a few

Wow! The Sound of Music city turns out to be a congress city as well!
The international Conga award was won by Salzburg ahead of New York
and Istanbul last week. Can you imagine being on an international

It would be easy to get from New York to Rome, but getting to Sardinia
is like pulling teeth.
How can one get Cheaply to Sardinia from Naples to Olbia or Alghero.

Forgive the preamble, but without some explanation of the
circumstances, my request would appear very strange.
For the past three weeks we have been trying to find out which
hotel in Istanbul, Insight uses on their “Wonders of Turkey” tour.

Anybody any recommendations for a small gite or pied-à-terre in France
where one person could go and relax for a week (or two)?      Ideally
it will be in an area where one could do some sightseeing during the
day and have nice meals at a local restaurant in the evening.  Even
