I am looking up airfare prices for a trip from Newark, NJ to London Heathrow
leaving at the end of July and staying for 10 days.  I flew over there last year
around the same time for around $600 (I could have flown for as cheap as $450
but I wasn't ready to commit at the time that ...

Iberian airlines08 Mar 2008 20:47 GMT12
My wife and I are going from Boston to Torino, IT in June. Iberia airlines
is the best price. We have seen some negative comments on Tripadvisor about
Iberia but mostly about the staff being rude. For a nice savings, I can live
with people being rude. Do any readers of this group ...
Crosswind landing08 Mar 2008 19:44 GMT67
This illustrates the problem of landing an aircraft when there is a
significant component of the wind across the runway. The reported wind speed
was 155mph, although I've not found the relative angle to the runway, so
don't know what the crosswind component was.

Rip off extras08 Mar 2008 16:16 GMT13
I've just booked a return flight with Sterling and they charged me 100DKK,
about GBP 10.30 or 11% of the fare, for a credit card payment.
And because they aren't a British company, they don't understand the concept
of Visa Debit cards, so had I opted to pay with that they still ...

are either unsuitable or only in Swedish which I do not speak. Can
