cost of travel in Mexico and Guatemala08 Aug 2003 20:06 GMT11
I am planning to take my family (myself and my husband and our two
teenage kids) to Mexico and Guatemala but I am wondering how expensive
it is to travel in these countries, and what difference there is between
the two of them, if any.
Driving to Puerto Vallarta08 Aug 2003 16:54 GMT5
My wife and I will be taking our two kids to Sayulita (just north of Puerto
Vallarta) for Christmas.  We have rented a villa and will be driving.  This
is not our first time to Mexico, but it IS our first time driving through.
Needles to say, we are excited, but also nervous.  Does ...
Mexico City-June08 Aug 2003 07:00 GMT3
Because of schedule constraints I find that the most convenient time for
me to travel to MEX will be in Summer. It is my understanding that this

the rain such that it might entirely ruin an excursion? Does it rain

We're taking a 2 week trip to Brazil in November, and would like

I'm thinking of spending 3 weeks in Peru in September.  Can anyone advise me
on how long it would take to travel to Cuzco via Huancayo and Ayacucho?  I'd
like to visit Machu Pichu and Lake Titicaca but am not sure whether all 3
are really a good idea.
Iguassu Falls06 Aug 2003 13:13 GMT2
What's the usual way to get to Iguassu Falls from Buenos Aires? - by
bus, presumably, but how long does it take and how much does it cost?
What about accommodation there for the budget traveller?
I know the popularity of Iguassu Falls probably means there's plenty

Do S American cities have equivalent to Kao San Rd?05 Aug 2003 19:41 GMT1
Any budget travellers to South East Asia will be only too familiar
with Kao San Rd in Bangkok. Whatever anybody thinks about Kao San Rd,
it's certainly convenient for getting easy accommodation at low prices
plus rubbing shoulders and swapping stories with fellow travellers.
MEXICO05 Aug 2003 17:00 GMT3
I would like to find a tour that goes to the Colonial Cities of Mexico.
All I ever see advertised are the usual beach and archeological tours.
Anyone have any info? Tks.

Bucerias, Mexico03 Aug 2003 15:31 GMT1
Has anyone stayed in Bucerias (outside of Puerto Vallarta), Mexico, who could
