I just bought my plane tickets. 7. oct: Oslo - Buenos Aires and 11. dec Lima - Oslo. I've been following this group for a while, and have gotten some helpful advice. But still I'd like some input before takeoff.

I have driven twice to Cosa Rica. Last time in 98. I no the time required to get to Guatemala. However the 2 times I've driven from Guatemala to Costa Rica were at a leisurely pace. Next June I have to drive rather rapidly to Cosa Rica from Arizona.

ive had a great deal of experience with trying to live in mexico w/o actually buying a home or even taking a long-term rental (i want to be free to travel around) and the whole process of form-filling. telling half or whole lies to get past a b.s. snarl or whatever has left me

I recently travelled from Puerto Vallarta to Mexico City and found that nowhere would except money (bills) with even the slightest tear in it. I had one 200 peso note with a tear which I measured at 3 millimetres long and could not spend it anywhere.
