I will be traveling to Puerto Vallarta and am interested in
sightseeing and shopping.  What is there to see and do in the area?
Any suggestions?

Couple of questions.
Does taking American Dollars cash to BA help or is it better just to
withdraw from a ATM / Visa card ( Is there a better exchange rate for
cash)??

Do they have large shoppping centres in BA? or are they jsut large shops in
old buildings in the city centre.
Are any particular goods reasonably cheap or are prices on a par with
elsewhere in the world subject to the fluctuation of the pesos on the world

My wife and I will be in Oaxaca City and Huatulco in a couple weeks and plan
on visiting the surrounding towns and purchasing some handcrafts.  She's
from South America and is a real whiz at bargaining (she sends me away
because I get embarrassed and try to pay too high a price), ...

An oft-asked question so apologies but I can't find any previous hits.
In the bigger towns/cities in Chile and Argentina can I expect to get
local currencies from the Cash Machines (ATMs) using my bank ATM
card (PLUS).  Same card that works all over Europe, USA and Africa.

Anyone know a good site that I can find weather information in Cabo for the
month of January? I'm trying to decide if it's warm enough to be at the pool
at that time. Thanks!

    We are planning a trip by car for next spring to Matamoros.  Maybe stay
at the Best Western Motel, located near the Juarez Market.  I am pretty sure

After some advice on South America,
Will be flying there on the 29th October arriving in Santiago.
currently flying out of Buenos Aires on the 30 December, as we can not
get, any flights atfer, our ticket runs out on the 15th Jan.

Anybody having problems with them? I've had 4 screw ups since booking my
trips with them. Two of them were reschedules.
I would double check everything before going to the airport.

My wife and I spent a few days in Cabo 2-3 years ago and we stayed at
the Hotel Finisterra. I liked it and my wife loved it. She could spend

I am planning a trip to Belize in late February / early March. We are
looking for a place that has a great, quiet beach for swimming and relaxing;
close enough to take a trip to snorkel at the coral reef; and options for

In January I will stay for three days in Rio. I want to visit the usual
tourist-goals (Corcovado, Beach of Copacabana, Sugar Loaf,…). Now I ask
for myself where I should book a hotel. In Copacabana or in Downtown.

hello... looking for some suggestions for a small, mom and pop type resort,
south of Playa del Carmen where we can relax on the beach, sea kayak, eat
good food and use as a base for some day trips to Cenotes, ruins, Sian K'ain
and so on.
