Couple of questions. Does taking American Dollars cash to BA help or is it better just to withdraw from a ATM / Visa card ( Is there a better exchange rate for cash)??

Do they have large shoppping centres in BA? or are they jsut large shops in old buildings in the city centre. Are any particular goods reasonably cheap or are prices on a par with elsewhere in the world subject to the fluctuation of the pesos on the world

An oft-asked question so apologies but I can't find any previous hits. In the bigger towns/cities in Chile and Argentina can I expect to get local currencies from the Cash Machines (ATMs) using my bank ATM card (PLUS). Same card that works all over Europe, USA and Africa.
