Arenal - Tabacon

About two years ago while in San Miguel De Allende, Mexico, I met two
young women from Texas who were hitch hiking through South America.
They were supporting themselves by performing a "fire dance" of sorts in
town squares and on street corners.

From what I've read so far, most people get to Calakmul with their own
vehicle, or sometimes with a taxi.
On the other hand, does anyone know of the possibility of going there
on a trek with a guide i.e. two or three days hiking, with the site

Hoping to take a 6:30 am boat from Caulker to Belize City &
then a cab to the airport to catch a 8:30 am flight to Flores.
I am figuring 6:30 -7:00 on the boat
7:00 - 7:30 cab to airport....

Arriving in Belize City around noon & was hoping to head right to the dock to

While the first day is N$100, the 2nd or 3rd days are only N$40 each
averages out to N$60 for a all day pass.  Wonder if the 2nd and 3rd

Does anyone have personal experience with the Holiday Inn Main Square
Zocalo in Mexico City? It was my understanding that the Zona Rosa was
preferable to the Zocalo but after doing a little research I'm not so
convinced. If anyone has opinions of this hotel and of the Zocalo area,
