I was so taken by Playa Del Carmen, that I have to go back, and soon.
My
first opportunity will be the first two weeks of May, which happily
coincides with the off season.

Hello World,
  I'm planning a 9 day trip to sunny Acapulco. Was looking for some
feedback on the following hotels and what all you think about them:
Romano Palace Hotel

I am staying 3 weeks in Mexico next month flying in and out at Mexico City.
From there I would like to visit Tehotihuacan and then be on the road to
Oaxaca, San Cristobal de las Casas, and the yucatan peninsula where I would stay
1 week before flying back.

Anyone can tell me of a good resort in Margarita Venezuela, clean, good
food, services, activities,,,etc..

I've got some business in San Diego and I've walked into Tijuana
for a day several times but I think I'd like to take a couple
days while I'm out there and go down and stay in Tijuana.  Where
should I stay?  What should I see and do?

Does anyone have any suggestions for books or travel guides to read and

Anyone been in Mexico last few weeks, say Puerto Vallarta, and noticed
the exchange rates at the local "Cambios" for Canadian $$?  We are
heading down in a few days and are debating where to do the money
conversion since last year the better rate proved to be in Mexico rather

i am planning on visiting belize this march. first, i don't know if i'm
suppossed to be posting on this list!? Second, has anyone been to the mayan
ruins there?

QUESTIONS on Costa Rica        
I will be taking a private taxi from San Jose to Arenal.... I have been told
that the drivers will often stop at places along the drive for photo opps. Is
there any place along the road from San Jose to Tabacon area that I should ask

I'll be backbacking in Chile/Argentina/Uruguay starting next week, and
have read conflicting recommandations about keeping one's backpack safe.
Do you recommend those PacSafe/chickenwire things? A simple cable lock?
Nothing at all?  PacSafe seems nice, but its heavy and I'd like ...
