Weather in Tierra del Fuego, clothing recommendations11 Feb 2004 18:21 GMT5
I will be in Tierra del Fuego in late February, but I'm not sure what
kind of clothing to bring.  How cold is it there?  What kind of wind
chill?  What kind of snow cover?
Thank for any tips!
Anyone used Yucatan Express?11 Feb 2004 06:54 GMT7
Has anyone used the Yucatan Express?  I'd appreciate hearing about the
experience, or even if the company is still operating.  Their web site is still
up, but their schedule looks like it might be out of date.  Muchas gracias!

What vaccines are recommended before going to Argentina (other than
hepathitis A & B)?
Depending on the travel clinic I call, I am being told to take yellow fever,
typhoid fever or cholera !?
Has anyone travelled by bus from Tijuana to Oaxaca?11 Feb 2004 02:26 GMT2
I'm planning on spending a month going from Tijuana to Oaxaca and back. Is a month long enough, how much should I expect to spend and most importantly is this a trip worth doing or should I simply fly to Mexico City and spend a month just travelling around southern Mexico?
Why do we travel ?10 Feb 2004 21:17 GMT9
I don't know about you, but  I find life in the US pretty boring, and I
bore easily. But I don't think I can remember a boring day in Latin America.
That's what's kept me going back as often as possible, for as long as
possible, whenever possible for over thirty years.

one night only in Cancun,need some ideas.10 Feb 2004 16:06 GMT2
here's the plan. Our plane gets in (supposedly) at 4:30. We were originally
going to grab the rental car and head straight  to our hotel in Valladolid,
but I am revising that plan because there is no room for late planes, lost
luggage, night driving, general hassles,  etc. So it ...
Mexico Weather10 Feb 2004 08:28 GMT2
I am planning a vacation to Mexico during the first week of March.
Will I find less rain & cloudy days in Puerto Vallerta or Cancun?
Anything else about the weather in these 2 places would be
appreciated.
Tennis in Oaxaca and Puerto Escondido10 Feb 2004 00:19 GMT1
Has anyone played much tennis while staying in Oaxaca or Puerto
Escondido? I'm curious if there is any possibility to meet someone to
play with, and if it is ever possible to borrow or rent a racquet. I'd
love to bring mine, but my travel partner does not play and I want to
Budget Cancun, Maya Ruins Tours?09 Feb 2004 22:23 GMT1

Right now, we are looking for budget hotels and tours on the internet.
Any recommendations from recent travelers?
Visiting Peru & Boliva?09 Feb 2004 20:32 GMT7
My wife and I are considering visiting Peru, and possibly Boliva, this year.
Our thoughts at the moment are flying (from UK) to Lima and then walking the
Inca trail, ending at Manchu Pichu, before making our way to Lake Titicaca
and La Paz.  We are looking to be away for about 17 ...

Costa Rica08 Feb 2004 23:25 GMT1
Although March is during the dry season, you will still need some kind of
rain wear.   Also, insect repellent.
