My husband and I are contemplating moving from Wales, UK to America.  The

own a few acres to keep horses etc (impossible with land prices as they are
in the UK).

Belize to Chan Chich via Bus27 Apr 2004 14:08 GMT1
I am trying to find an inexpensive way to get to Chan Chich from
Belize City.  We would be fine with a 4-hr. drive/ride.  The hotel has
said that they could send a driver to Belize Int. to pick us up at the
cost of $200 US.  Does anyone know of a bus route alternative or

What about La Paz, Baja, Mexico?26 Apr 2004 15:57 GMT2
Anyone have any experience visiting or living in La Paz?  I've heard
indirectly that it's a nice city, good climate, not overly touristy, etc.
But I wonder how it really is.  Any first-hand experience or references to
good website would be much appreciated.  I wasn't able to do much ...
Altiplano in Argentina and Bolivia26 Apr 2004 13:34 GMT3
I'm planning to go to the Altiplano, in the northern Argentina and southern

rather avoid to experience the same situation than Gerry... (the superb
movie of Gus Van Sant).

I'm planning a short trip to Honduras and hope to spend a few days diving on

I'm  planning a trip to Buenos Aires and want to include a visit to
