I am planning to visit Chile next January. Travel to Chile from the US
would be by cruise ship, which requires more "fancy" clothes than we
will need during our travels around Chile and Peru. We will return to
the States from Lima.

Which Mayan Ruins? (Xunantunich, Chacchoben, or Kohunlich)09 May 2004 22:41 GMT3
(Cross-posted to rec.travel.cruises and rec.travel.latin-america.)
Hi, folks. Looking for some advice on which Mayan ruins to visit on an
upcoming cruise. I'm something of a history geek, but the Mayans aren't a
strong point of mine (or of my traveling companion), so I'm not looking

an inexpensive clean and colorful small hotel or B&B. Also maybe a
tour to take us around a couple of wineries and by foot in Valparaiso
Yucatan VW Camper Rental08 May 2004 05:05 GMT1
About 15 years ago, I was on vacation in the Yucatan and I met a couple of
others who had rented VW Camper vans.  You know, the classic air-cooled

I want to take my family on a Yucatan vacation and I'd love ...

I am planning to be in Chile in late July, and trying to decide

I understand that it'll be the dead of the winter, and most of the park

Bicycling Guatemala....07 May 2004 07:19 GMT1
I have been planning a cycling trip across Guatemala in
November/December this year and thought I'd see if anyone else has
done it. It's a charity ride and although I have been to Guatemala a

I'm flying GDL - YVR and the best price given at OneTravel.com
involves a flight on Aero California (AeroCalifornia) GDL - LAX.
