ive "heard" for about a year now that they've extended the distance

I'm planning on backpacking around Central America, probably starting in
October this year (if I ever get the plane tickets sorted out).  I'd like

We have a 30 hour layover in San Jose.  Are there any 1/2 day Tours
that are worthwhile or something we could do on our own?  We would
like to get out of the city, if possible.

Yes, the bugs really are that bad!  Sand fleas, no-see-um's, etc.  Were
travel around CR in Nov. for the 4th time and got eaten alive. Buy repellent
before you go, because it is hard to find there.

Apparently, renting a surfbord is expensive (in Jaco area for one month).
Should I bring a board from the US? I would rather not haul one with me.
Has anyone had luck buying a board in Jaco, using it for a while, then
reselling it there?

We plan travelling to the Nord-est in early July. Sao Luis and the Lencois

My husband and I will be visiting Guanajuato/San Miguel de Allende area in

I'm planning a trip to Central America, departing from home for Cancun
on June 9th with a friend. We'll spend around 5 days in Cancun then
proceed to bus down to Belize for about a  month of backpacking,

I'll be driving my 37' RV and wish to park it for several days to take the
train ride from los Mochis to chihauhau. Can anyone suggest the best way
