ive "heard" for about a year now that they've extended the distance
you can go w/o fooling with immigration but have found no real

I'll be spending about a week alone in Mexico this December before starting
Spanish lessons in Guanajuato and was wondering where people would
recommend spending the days over Christmas (23rd-26th)?

Yes, the bugs really are that bad!  Sand fleas, no-see-um's, etc.  Were
travel around CR in Nov. for the 4th time and got eaten alive. Buy repellent
before you go, because it is hard to find there.

Apparently, renting a surfbord is expensive (in Jaco area for one month).
Should I bring a board from the US? I would rather not haul one with me.
Has anyone had luck buying a board in Jaco, using it for a while, then
reselling it there?
