My wife and I are planning a two week trip to Chile. I'm wondering...
1) Recommended areas in Santiago to stay. Some area with good restaurants,
bars and attractions within walking distance
2) Interesting ares in Santiago that are NOT within walking distance, but

We are two friends aiming to goto Bolivia & Brazil in December for 4 weeks.
Whilst I am waiting for my Lonely Planet book to arrive in the mail, I would
like to ask a few questions.
Our plan is to fly into La Paz and make our way to Rio de Janeiro.

I am going to Cancun in a couple of weeks.
Any advice about visiting Cancun area? Any historical places must to see....

Any trouble getting thru fast these days in the Rio airport.  Was reports of
long delays of American citizens holding US passports.can anyone help
