I won't have time to shop in both these towns, recommended as good areas for shopping. Tlaquepaque sounds like the nicer tourist destination with more upscale stores, inns etc. Tonala sounds more like the factory town. I usually prefer an authentic experience so

Are advance reservations needed for the Sunday morning performances of the Ballet Folklorio in Guadalajara? If so, how would I make them? I haven't been able to find any sites for bookings, or even much information about tickets, just sites that tell me to see it! :)
