We will be in Mazatlan for about 10 days in May, and had a couple of
questions about things to do:
- We like to snorkel - any recommended places to go for that?
- Is it worth renting a car to drive the countryside?  Are there

Travel to Brazil - dual citizenship27 Feb 2005 15:48 GMT2
My wife and I will soon be traveling to Brazil from the US. I am a
citizen of Sweden, and will therefore not need a Brazilian visa. My
wife has two passports: Sweden and the US. Will she need a visa
(entered in her US passport)?

Based on earlier advice on this newsgroup, I'm planning on 5 days in
roatan's west end.  I hope to be snorkeling/freediving as much as possible
with my teenage son.  So far I'm looking at:

Peru in high season?26 Feb 2005 06:18 GMT5
I've got six weeks for traveling all of August plus the last week of
July and first of September. One of the places I'm thinking about is
Peru, so I'm wondering how swamped with tourists it is during the high
season. Is it really awful, and if I could swing it would late
Recommended air options from West Coast to Central America?26 Feb 2005 01:43 GMT12
I'm not sure where I'm going in Central America yet but I'm looking for recommended websites or airlines
that have good fares from the Seattle area to Central America.  I guess San Jose would be the most
frequently travelled destination.  It doesn't matter since I'll be travelling ...

Itinerary help - leaving for CR in a few days!24 Feb 2005 01:18 GMT1
Hi! I've decided, rather last-minute, to take a vacation to Costa Rica.
I'm usually pretty comfortable "winging it", without a fixed itinerary,
but given the last-minute nature of this trip (and my lack of time to
do much research before I go) I asked a travel agent in CR to put an
Costa Rica One Week Itinerary - is this feasable?24 Feb 2005 01:09 GMT1
We are going on a spur of the moment trip (just thought of it on
Monday, leaving this Saturday) to Costa Rica.  Never been before.  We
are looking for relaxing travel.  I know we can't see it all in a week,
so we are not trying to (girlfriend and I).  I want to see some of the
cheaptrips.com?  Good prices - but?23 Feb 2005 17:54 GMT1
They seem to say that they have cornered the air courier market.  Their prices seem great.  The best
prices seem to be last minute specials.  Like "Can you fly tomorrow or the day after."  The salesperson I
talked to on the phone (1-800-461-8856) was fairly high pressure so that ...
