A friend who is a hotel owner in la Paz where I wanted to make a reservation told me that access to la Paz is very difficult, protest marches everywhere etc. and they don't recommend to travel there at all this year??!! What is, for real, the current situation in Bolivia?

When you meet a Brazilian man or woman for the first time, and he/she is either your age or younger, and you're both in an informal setting, do you use the formal senhor/senhora, or is it acceptable to use voce? How do Brazilians handle this everyday social situation?
