Planning my annual 5 to 6 week trip from Denver to Mexico driving solo
in a camper van and camping 10-20% of the time.  My wife will fly down
to be with me for a week or so somewhere along the way.  In the past I
have always visited the west coast, central area and Baja.    Never

For the most increadible nature experience, try the island of Dominica
(not the Dominican Republic). This english speaking southern Caribbean
island is uncrowded with tourits and offers many exciting activities
such as hiking, kayaking, river tubing, jeep safaries, bird watching,

Ticabus runs buses from Managua to San Salvador.
Does anyone know the route it takes?  I assume it's not going through
Honduras.  Otherwise the only route I am aware of is over the Gulf of
Fonseca.

I'm looking for a hotel centrally located in the $70-$100 range (US
dollars).  Safety and cleanliness are the only other issues.

In what neighborhood would be good for a nine day visit to BA.  We like
street food markets and we will be at El Teatro Colon on three nights.
We like the METRO and other public transport.  We think that we can
find a good 2 bedroom place for under $100 per night.

I'm takinga  side-trip to Iquitos next week, and I still haven't
finalized my itinerary. I plan on heading at least as far as the triple
border by boat, but I'm not sure if there is anything in particular that
I should see besides "the Amazon". I'll have about three days in that

My husband & I are planning on 2 weeks trip to Peru in early May.  Here

2 days in Cuzco/Sacred Valley area

What is the Chilean peso - US dollar exchange rate at bank machines in
Santiago?  Is location important ? -- e.g. is the rate better in the
city than in the airport?
