Anyone know where I can get info on Bus or Train Service Through Mexico
from Tapachula ( southern Border of Mexico and GUATEMALA) Want to go to
Puerto Vallarta Y Acapulco.
If we can skip Mexico City that would be good and finally ending up in

I want to visit La Paz, Mexico and I was wonder if anyone could suggest
hotel in or near La Paz.  I am looking for the best/nicest hotel in the
area.  Information on La Paz on the internet seems to be confusing and
incomplete, maybe because it is less of a tourist location than alot ...

we're active, in our 50's, do lots of jungle walks/birding, nature
trails, etc.

I will be arriving into Panajachel from Guatemala City next Tuesday
around 5pm, then I will be in the area for a whole day Wednesday, before
heading back to Guatemala City to catch a flight.

We want to visit Amazon rainforest in Peru or Bolivia.
We prefer a site which is less spoiled or damaged by tourism. We would
like to see the original and primitive side of rainforests.
However, Our budget is not that much.

The sig other wants a beach vacation, but I prefer cities/towns with
local culture, and perhaps some river/inland exploration (biking, bird
watching, etc)?
Are there any good beaches near a small/medium size town or village

As in with my MASS plates and my Massachusetts drivers lic?  And if
so,  how long can I get away with that?
