Considering a trip to Nogales, MX30 Sep 2006 11:39 GMT3
Hi everybody....
My family and I spend a lot of time in Arizona.  I've been wanting to
find a place in Mexico (near Arizona) where I could take my family for
a day of just checking out Mexico and exploring.

Duty Free Liquor Warning26 Sep 2006 02:55 GMT1
FYI:
Against our better judgement, we decided to buy a bottle of rum at the duty
free shop in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We knew we could carry it on to
Miami(they bring it to the gate), but would have to check it after we went
Mexico Dilemma26 Sep 2006 00:30 GMT6
Okay - no need to call me a sucker because it's something I've
already called myself a thousand times, but I have a time share in a
resort in Mexico. What can I say? It seemed like a good idea at the
time. But things haven't worked out and I don't have the financial
What is the best calling card from Puerto Vallarta to the US?25 Sep 2006 19:16 GMT3
We will be in Puerta Vallarta for a couple of weeks in late October.
Due to some business deals in the works both my wife and I will need
to call back to Colorado quite a bit. I saw an MCI international phone
card at Costco for $30 which includes Mexico to USA for 27

Does anyone know if the Flor de Vida restaurant in Monteverde, Costa

calling them, but can't get through.
Thanks.
What is the latest on VARIG?24 Sep 2006 18:45 GMT1
Is it operating? Its site is up but I checked the international flights
and they operate only from Frankfurt, Caracas and Buenos Aires. Is it
operating, albeit shrunk?
Discovering Kuelap: The second Machu Picchu20 Sep 2006 16:07 GMT1
Good day fellow travelers - It has been a while since we met and I
thought I'd write something up on a recent trip Karin and I took to

It isn't especially easy getting to Kuelap, but if you've spent
Hotels Puerto Vallarta18 Sep 2006 22:17 GMT2
I'd appreciate suggestions for a hotel in Puerto Vallarta. I'd like an

and shopping. I'd like a little more than "basic" accommodations...not
luxurious but very nice. My Budget can swing $125.00 per night..not
Patagonia18 Sep 2006 16:28 GMT2
We are planning a trip to Patagonia around Christmas of this year. We
will probably arrive in Santiago and stay there for a couple of days.
Then we go to Puerta Montt and on to white water rafting with a company
called H2O Patagonia.

Chile's $100 Visa for Americans14 Sep 2006 15:10 GMT30
I will be travelling to Argentina on business, flying into Santiago
only for the day before flying out that evening. Is there any way I can
(legally) avoid paying the ridiculous $100 entry fee to Chile?
Thank you.
