Bought my controller (was: Brake Controller Question)14 Jul 2004 22:13 GMT33
Picked up my Tekonsha Envoy today...  Was going to do the Prodigy, but the
Envoy was just too cheap...  Got it for quite a bit less than most places
were selling it.
It's going into my Expedition, and I'm a bit baffled on where to put it...

I think I'm ON topic with this one......
I'm towing a 2003 Coleman (Fleetwood) Carmel pop-up with a 2001 Toyota
Sequoia - does a great job. My question is regarding the load on the
Sequoia's alternator - it's rated at 150 amps (I assume peak max, not

We have DirecTV and have been thinking of changing to the Dish system.  Any
information, experience, etc. would be appreciated.  We've used our satellite
at home and in our Fiver on the road, but every time we have a problem (a lot
of interference during bad weather) and I call them ...

proper for a few days and leave the rv at the park. Any comments about

2001 Ford Work Horse chassis with V10 Handling14 Jul 2004 12:51 GMT4
I recently bought a used 2001 Class A Motor Home with the Ford Work Horse
chassis from a private party..  Because of local road conditions I was able
to test drive up to 50mph, and thought it handled well.  After taking
possession I have now been on our first trip on the interstate ...

Bad Economy?  I don't think so...14 Jul 2004 00:41 GMT104
If a rural state like Minnesota has this much spare income to gamble
with, I don't think the economy can be too bad.

Getting ready for another trip, but wanted to ask this question, the max

you installed a speaker on your laptop and if so where ...

Just got briefed in our monthly safety brief at work that as of July 1,
it will be illegal to talk on a cell phone while driving (without a
hands free device) in Washington DC.  As far as I know, no states have
flat out made it illegal *yet*, I imagine some will follow suit.  I

Was at AAA getting maps and tourbooks for my mother, and found out
they have "campbooks". I got one, and it has some moderately
