Just a preliminary report on the use of a TERK SR1X antenna Vs Delphi Mini OE antenna. Installed the Terk a week or so ago, and have been waiting for a scheduled trip to Spokane WA to try it out. Have also been fighting a problem on my 32' Southwinds steering. (gotta hear the whole ...

| Split speed limits are silly | 12 Jul 2004 21:02 GMT | 94 |
I just finished a trip via car from Minnesota to New York via I-90. I wanted to take my truck and travel trailer, but it would have cost twice as much since my car gets 45MPG. Those split speed limits for vehicles with trailers cause more problems

| ON TOPIC (what a concept) romoving Maxair covers | 12 Jul 2004 16:10 GMT | 9 |
Bought my motor home used. It has MaxAir covers on all the vents. There no visible screws and appears to be held on by some kind of frame. I think I have it figured out, but would like some input before I

| Electric compressor | 12 Jul 2004 14:22 GMT | 5 |
What is a good small 110v. compressor to take along to service Class A RV tires? Something in a pancake style, or the like. I have a Truck-Air, but it doesn't really do the job. I want something I can plug in to the genset output.

| Should I try to fix my trailer's frame? | 12 Jul 2004 12:11 GMT | 5 |
For various reasons, I bought my trailer 750 miles from home. One of my sofa beds keeps coming loose from the wall. I think the stud is split in the wall. It is under warranty, but the local dealer won't take the time to actually open the wall and fix it right.

| Lon VanOstran, Moron | 12 Jul 2004 11:35 GMT | 15 |
I wrote privately to Mr. Gas Bag (see message below). He has never been able to take a hint online that he is an idiot and that he needs to reign himself in. So, I thought I'd waste a little time on him and communicate with him privately. In response to my private message, he says ...

We are shopping for a 17' to 19' travel trailer. We have so far looked at the Nomad (by Skyline) and the Pioneer (by Fleetwood). Out of these two, which one is a better build? Any other brand? Thanks in advance. David

Wireless Internet in RV Parks is a big deal right now. Businesses are springing up to fill this need and RVers are discussing the parks that have it and how best to do it. I'd like to talk here, if I may, about the way things are going so far.
