Replacing a window12 Jul 2004 01:21 GMT5
All the windows in my 5th wheel are of the hand crank type that open out in
an angle.   I would like to have a window open when I travel to get
ventilation in for my dogs.   I cannot keep these windows open because the
wind gets underneath and the strength of the wind breaks the ...

Worst Campground I've Visited Recently11 Jul 2004 23:32 GMT17
I had an experience recently with the Encore Super Resort (I choked as I
wrote those words- "Super Resort") campground in Daytona Beach, Florida that
I'd just as soon forget. Except that I certainly want to remember to not go
there again.

I have recently purchased a Sirius radio for the MH and have a question
about the antenna. The antenna has a magnetic base to it for use on a car
roof but since I have a fiberglass roof will it be ok to just use adhesive
and glue it to the roof? Or does it need the metal ...

first year they give you a twenty dollar discount for joining.  Ten dollars
the second year and want you to re-up at full price the 3rd ...
Attaching my vintage Honda motorcycle to a 30-ft 5th-wheel11 Jul 2004 07:50 GMT7
Hi group,
I want to mine the RV wisdom here.
During my travels, I've seen these "carrying racks" -- for lack of a
better name to call them-- on the backs of 5th-wheels.  The racks carry

Brake Controller Question11 Jul 2004 04:45 GMT17
I've decided to upgrade from my old controller, in light of a recent
purchase of a 27" A/S Overlander.  Had the old ramp style.  Considering one
of those new fangled Intertia activated ones from Tekonsha.  Specifically,
the Enoy.

Suburban 2000 tire recommendations10 Jul 2004 18:06 GMT3
I finally wore out my original Firestone Wilderness tires

work well in snow.
Question about Wanderlust RV Prk/Eureka Springs10 Jul 2004 17:54 GMT2
I'm going to a scooter rally in Aug and will be staying at the
"Wanderlust" Rv park while there. (Eureka Springs). I normally avoid
parks like a plague, but in this case, it's a necessity. Do any of you
fine folks have knowledge of this park and the surrounding area? I'll be
Norcold 3 way fridge not heating, front panel buckled!?!?10 Jul 2004 14:06 GMT3
It's a late start to the camping season and I just pulled out the
camper to check things out and get it ready to go.  I usually run the
fridge on gas but since it was up, I switched it to AC to chill it.  I
planned to load it up tonight and went out with my eggs and the outer
