Roof insulation on front cap.10 Jul 2004 12:56 GMT1
My cell phone just dropped the call and I lost a response in progress.
Will asked if the insulation on the front cap was the same as the roof.
It isn't. The front cap is usually inside of cupboards and behind the TV. In
our MH, the vinyl inside our front cabinets comes out exposing ...

Generator with a computer10 Jul 2004 03:12 GMT8
I need to use a computer and laser printer outside and am looking to buy
a *very* cheap generator (I'm cash-strapped!)
I'm worried about the output stability of the generator. Does anyone
know whether buying a normal surge protector like you would use on the
Fridge Repair thoughts?10 Jul 2004 02:48 GMT8
All,
About 2 years ago we bought an 1983 model 18' prowler lite travel trailer.
Overall, it's been a nice unit...a few quirks, but what do you expect for 20
years old and $1700?  :-)  Anyway, the one big down side all along is that
Window Leak10 Jul 2004 00:19 GMT14
Just came back from a rather wet weekend.  The rear window on my
motorhome developped a leak between the window and the wall of the RV.
The advice I got from a RV Dealer was to take out the window, clean
off the old putty, put fresh putty around the window and reinstall.

Fast burn09 Jul 2004 17:05 GMT6
Wow! I just watched a neighbours older fifth wheel go up in flames in
his back yard. Don't know what caused it, but it literally dissapeared in
flames. The firechief arrived and told the crew to "forget about the
trailer...it's already gone...guard everything around it". I just ...

Newfoundland09 Jul 2004 10:44 GMT8
Wondering if anyone can tell me about the road and general travel conditions
in Newfoundland. Thinking of taking my 34 foot class A in September. Are the
roads paved and smooth or is this like my trip to Alaska? How hilly is the
island? Campgrounds plentiful?
Used RV Parts09 Jul 2004 04:35 GMT1
Does anyone know of any companies (or wrecking yards) that deal in used RV
parts?
I would be interested in Canadian sources but don't want to limit myself
only to Canadian companies
RV electricity at home.09 Jul 2004 00:59 GMT31
I went to local Home Depot to find a female connector for the MH 30amp cord.
I found similar connectors but none were the same.
I'd like to plug the MH cord into an outlet at home and not use an extension
cord.
WTB  Travel Trailer East Texas08 Jul 2004 15:10 GMT1
Howdy,
The plan is to come to Texas in September and buy a used travel trailer to
set up for the winter near Mount Pleasant.
Any suggestions how to find out what's for sale before leaving northern
Blaster virus08 Jul 2004 14:41 GMT11
Everyone kept telling me that sooner or later I would get a virus if I keep
working without an anti virus program. For most of the last 10 years I have
rejected anti virus because every program I have tried has radically slowed
down my Internet experience.
